OPENING OF 2022 REGISTRATIONS

After a year of absence due to Covid-19, the Tournament is back in force and today is the day that registrations for the 62nd edition of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament begins. We invite all teams wishing to participate to send us their registration form and payment. Details can be found in the '' 2022 Registrations '' tab of our website. The tournament will take place from February 9 to 20.

It is understood that the organizing committee is closely monitoring the evolution of the pandemic. For the moment there will be a tournament, but we cannot yet confirm in which format it will be presented. International? National? Provincial? Several factors must be taken into consideration in view of the current world situation which is bound to change at any time. The final format decision will be announced in September.

IMPORTANT:

-ACCEPTED TEAMS WILL BE CONTACTED A LITTLE AFTER OCTOBER 15 (registration deadline). Your registration does not guarantee your participation. Never reserve or take anything for granted until you receive your letter of acceptance.

-In the event that the 2022 Tournament should be canceled, the committee will return all documents and registration fees to the teams that registered.

The deadline to register is October 15, 2021. After this date, no more applications will be considered, no exceptions. We remind the teams to carefully read the 2022 Tournament rules. Like every year, a selection committee will be formed to choose the teams that will participate, according to the criteria specific to the organization.

Teams can register in one of the following categories:

AAA
AA-Elite
AA
Inter-B
School
A

New Class Pee-Wee " A "
After much thought and because we've been thinking about expanding the Tournament for a few years now, we've decided to open a new Pee-Wee '' A '' class next year. Rather than increasing the number of double letter teams, we thought it best to give the A teams a chance to experience it as well. The Tournament will therefore now host 144 teams. Class A will have 24 teams. 12 Quebec teams and 12 away teams. The teams will play all their games at the Pavillon de la Jeunesse, with the exception of the grand finale which will be held at the Videotron Center. Several European teams have already shown interest and will enter this category next year.
