No sanitary mesures for 2023

Quebec City, September 28, 2022 – Following the announcement made by the Government of Canada monday, the organization of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament announces today that no more health restrictions will be required for tournament participants, whether they come from outside of Canada or not.

Lifting of sanitary measures

The Government of Canada announced yesterday that all sanitary measures at borders and in transport will be lifted. Thus, as of Saturday, October 1, all travellers, regardless of their citizenship, will no longer have to:

- Enter public health information into the ArriveCAN app or website

- Provide proof of vaccination

- Undergo a screening test before or upon arrival;

- Quarantine or self-isolate due to COVID-19

- Monitor or report any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 they may have upon arrival in Canada

- Wear the mask on planes and trains

We therefore confirm that no more health measures will be required to be able to participate in the Pee-Wee Tournament. As a result, for those who asked the question, no proof of vaccination will be requested from players and coaches. For teams that have still not registered for the 2023 Tournament, we remind you that they have until October 15 maximum to do so. The registration form can be found on our website.
