Quebec, September 16, 2021 - Last year has been very different for the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, to the dismay of many, but ultimately oh so beneficial for the organization which was able to work on many projects. Today, the team unveils the result of long-term work: the creation of a whole new graphic universe for the Pee-Wee Tournament!

Refresh the image of the Tournament, without distorting it

Designed in collaboration with Parcelle agency, the Tournament’s brand image has been designed to make the graphic universe younger, more dynamic and colorful.

''Our mandate was to refresh the official logo while preserving the identity of this major tournament recognized internationally for 62 years. It was a great challenge: to modernize it without distorting it. Thus, in order to bring out the talent and professionalism of all these young hockey players, we have created a distinctive graphic universe, but above all prestigious, which is available both on the field and in digital format. Always so representative and easily recognizable, the new signature is part of the notoriety of this great Tournament of which we are all very proud!" said Sylvie Bernard, Creative Director and Partner at Parcelle.

''The Tournament was ready! It must be said that we have not redone, but well designed our branding, never before, in 62 years of existence, did we take the time to do so. This little breeze of freshness will really do good!" explains Patrick Dom, General manager.

Indeed, the Tournament needed that little more professional side. We wanted an image that represents who we really are, a colorful, world-class tournament, and it's thanks to the Parcelle agency that the result is so successful.


Different elements affected

The new graphic universe of the Tournament touches several things, including the colors, the typography, the photographic style and of course, the logo. Several elements have been adjusted on it including color and typography. Quebec is highlighted. Here is the comparison :

This work also led us to revise the website, which is also enjoying a breath of fresh air, see the final result here: www.tournoipee-wee.qc.ca/en/. Documents for teams, tickets, accreditations and others also have been changed.

Reminder of 2021 projects

Many other projects have been completed, mainly to benefit the peewees who missed their chance to play in the Tournament. Let us remember the Clin d'oeil Pee-Wee event where young people took advantage of outdoor hockey clinics with pro players, the thematic suite at the Hôtel de Glace and of course, the Pee-Wee Camp presented by the Montreal Canadiens Hockey School which took place from August 2 to 6.
